Revell Acrylic Paint

I picked up a few of the square plastic pots of Revell Acrylic at the weekend, and I have been impressed enough to at least make this post.

It flows nicely, has a good opaque coverage (like Citadel foundation paints), mixes well with Citadel, GW, CdA and Tamiya and overall I'm quite impressed.  The pots seem really weird at first, but they don't see to spill or splash anywhere, and actually work really much better than you'd think they would.

And at £1.50 for 20ml, whilst not the cheapest paint available, better than £2.00 for 12ml available from GW.

Anyone else tried the Revell Acrylics?

I already have the foundation set from GW but thanks for the info.

Yeah, so do I, but when I'm outside ModelZone, and the wife is all "Well, I suppose you want something from here.  I'll take the kids fo The Early Learning Centre, and I'll meet you there when you're done.", I've gotta come out with something, right? :D

Bungle

Is the revell stuff the new branded humbrol acrylics?

Keeper

To be honest, I don't know Mr Bungle.  I never heard who bought which Humbrol assets.

I finally found something on the Revell website today about them, a colour chart

I haven't tried the metallics yet.
