Excellent contrast between the soft skin and the heavy metals!
The questions we should be asking are these:
Does it have dungeons?
Does it have dragons?
Does it have transients who kill things for money?  Do you roll a d20?

The mini and the base look great. the only thing I noticed was (when you feel like dealing with it) you might want to touch up the join between the figure and the base. that and the color of the fur at that point blends in with the base a bit much.

I suppose I could put a thin black line around to separate them. The gap is due to the foot slighty lifted at the back, but I can easily just paint into it so it isn't as obvious. (Even though it is intentional, if it looks more of a mistake il  fix it up.)

Actually id like some tips to what you did with your metals. Im having some trouble with my current GD entry> its getting there, but not enough for me to be 100% happy.

how about adding a bit of plant life to the rock?   only a small bit of lichen or something.  I have a bag of this stuff thats all different colours of what looks like stringy bushes.  Some would go perfectly on that and u dont need to paint it or anything, just stick on.  the yellowy\orangey stuff would go nice I think

adds more dimensions to the fig, I'll photo the stuff if u like?
