Just one thing: I think you're going to need to have more armature support for the sculpting. That looks like it's going to be trouble to hold onto?
Or maybe it's so big you can hold onto the actual sculpt while working on one part? Never done anything that big so I wouldn't know...

the mini is big enough to hold the middle while i sculpt the legs , head and tail around it.

the wings are being sculpted separately and just placed ther to see if the sculpt was working.

the wings are still separate (and only one is half done........the other has a way to go yet)

i now have to figure out a way to connect the dragon to the ground whilst i'm finishing other stuff off.

Very, very nice. How do you sculpt the membranes? Just flatten it out and wait for it to slightly harden, then cut it out to shape?

i squshed it out with my fingers then placed it over the armature whilst fairly fresh ( i had to keep my fingers wet)

i then stretched areas and wrapped bits of the putty around the wire to stick it around the wire.

all in all i'd say i did a lot ofswearing whilst this was going on.  then i blu-tacked them to a cupboard to dry.  the membranes need to be thickened up a little now.

Ah so you did each wing in one go, I thought you would have to do each trianglar piece seperate then glue them to the wire. Wait for it all to set then putty over the wire for strength.

toothpaste tubes cut to shape are supposed to be good to use for the wings.  May be easier than carving from scratch and u can add detail on them after.  Solid as well so can be heavier handed.

What about crud*e paper, use that hardener stuff to harden it and then bulk it with procreate.  :shrug:

i origianlly thought about using paper ans sealing it with super glue. but the gods were with me on this one and i just went for it with the procreate.
