It might cave in if I did that. I have too many of them and some are huge old lead ones. Part of my collection I need to buy a huge glass display case. I just need to find the right one.

ccm site has just had a discussion about display cases.  people suggested Ikea but there were a couple of others too.  check the group website and u should find them.

Have u got the Chicken Dragon?  the big one & think it was their first.....

Thanks for the info. I have been a little lax with checking the CCM stuff of late.

The Chicken Dragon is at the top of my wants list! I want one but it needs to be unpainted.

By the way; almost all houses out here have BASEMENTS!  Awesome for gaming and hobbies.

I clicked on the links and there was some nice stuff from what I remember but am sure you can find better and cheaper if u search around on the web

Never even heard of the Chicken Dragon being for sale.  Think it was £50 when it came out which due to inflation would work out about £150 in todays money.  I bet it'd reach 5k on ebay painted or unpainted now.....

The last one I saw on Ebay sold for $3500 US. That was about two years ago.

For the most part, houses built within the past 30 years are dry basements or walk-outs -- quasi basements that are only half underground.  We actually have a dehumidifier, but haven't had to use it yet.  Amanda's library is in the basement, and her books are doing just fine, high and dry.

That actually might be it. Most of the basements I have been in here in NY are in older houses and some are very moist.

The houses are supposed to be great, but the bridges have a bad reputation round there!
