is there an amount you want to spend?

IIRC they come in 2 sizes... a foot long and about 3 foot long, I will presume you would prefer the shorter lengths (I use the really thin steel lengths (piano wire) for aerials on wargames vehicles)

Prices start from around 65p IIRC and go up to about £1.50 per piece

from another website I found this list of sizes, I presume you will want up to about 1.5mm thick?
