Wristy's DOD WIP

Figure's are ready for the procreate and this is the base so far, I need to cast more block to finish it off.

I'm going for an old neglected look with a dark gloominess to it, it's been left to the elements and i want it to show.
I was testing different stuff and how to mix it, that's why there's different coloured block and some are better quality than others.

Herculite Premium also known as Herculite Stone.  :icon_wink:
1 Water to 3 powder works great.

Hehe they've not got further than sketch stages just yet.

Hey Wristy, that is one cool looking start to a diorama of doom!  I'd be worried about the enemy damaging it so you may need one of these:  :Walkdrag: for a bit of defence  :icon_twisted:.

It's a great start and I look forward to seeing the end result  :icon_cool:.

Going to have two pillars at the entrance, a ring of curved blocks (like the bottom ring wall) going around the top on the pillars, cut out the centre, glue some plastic card to the bottom of the hole and i have some steps made leading down into it.
I'm going to cut the polystyrene around the walls off as it's all going to be centred inside the building.

I picture it as a junction, door way in and stairs leading up to a tower and stairs descending to the lower levels.

Have made a start on the grouting and started painting the Vampire and the girl.  :icon_cool:

Adjusting how i do my skin a bit and these are quick taken too....  :icon_redface:

They have a Cheddar look about the skin, too much sun.  :icon_wink:

The only suggestion I could make is that any intregal structure pieces, such as columns, would be cut from the same stone. Still, it's an interesting design.

I was just trying different stuff to cast them from and they will be all painted the same.

Have most of the grouting still to do, one of those really fun jobs...  :icon_neutral:


Redone pic's and got dust on the Vampire, scrud*ed off paint on the end of his cloak! and need to redo the girls face as it's crud*.  :swear:
