Full size display mannequin, painted in realistic skin tones for a public militaria display. The mannequin was stark white - the owner wanted it to represent a suntanned New Zealand infantryman at Monte Cassino, during WW2. This was the first time attempting realistic skin at 1.1 scale, so it was quite a challenge

Lots and lots of subtly different colored layers were built up and stippled on with a sponge. A long & slow process, but the end results were worth the effort. Not that you can tell by the photos though...
