My life force is energy, I don't own it and it will go where it wants when I die (it will probably transform in to the energy needed to rot down my corpse).  If I had a soul to sell I would save it just in case I ever needed to save the lives of any of my close family.  No amount of STUFF could ever be worth them.  They make me glad to be alive.

Are there any religions apart from Sikhism that would survive unchanged on the discovery of intelligent life on another planet?
