What type of tree do you think Yggdrasil should be?

I am asking because I was thinking of making one but am not sure what would be the best type of tree to use a reference.

Anyway  :offtopic: so what do you guys think, would this be something you would like to see? I was actually thinking of a set with the dragon gnawing at the roots, the eagle perched above, and the squirrel. let me know what you think.

I'm not sure if i would buy something like that. But its intersting how influenced by Norse mythology the fantasy genre is. Most undoubtedly because of Tolkien. Everything from dwarves/trolls/elves and dark elves.. very cool.
Wikipedia is great!

Anyway  :offtopic: as usual. I like the idea though, the Norse fanatics would love to paint that up as a diarama

for now it is just an idea. If I do go ahead, it would probably be a limited edition type of thing.

It would depend on the execution of the concept. As an idea its a good one. A pig to cast and sell, but good for custom made finished piece.

Not something i would buy myself but it's mostly single or a few figures i would paint.
The conbined Herresy\Hasslefree Minitor and Reaper Hill Giant are the only big figures i have done or am doing.

What sort of scale are you going for.

Just make sure you make it big enough for the whole world 1n 28 mm scale to fit in it's branches  ;)
