board games
« on: July 02, 2007, 07:03:05 AM »

i'm after a miniature based board game ( i grew up on space hulk, space crusade, heroquest and talisman)

basically something that is self contained and fairly simple to play (not too much time available) but can be fun for adults.

there doesn't seem to be much around on the market at the moment

i was thinking possibly of Rackham's Hybrid or even one of their confrontation starter sets.

help me please!

Why not just go back to Heroquest, I have and find that we can do 3 -4 quests in a night, plus there's quite a good fanbase, with fan made quests to expand the game even more.
or
Try Darkworld for a one sitting game, has two expansions, that each play as separate games in one sittings too.
Plus GW is re-releasing Talisman so it may be woth re looking that way too.
