While I am happy you are getting the entire set. It sucks that you have to wait.

Speaking of waiting, how's Kess? :p Don't worry, she always did have a shocking sense of timing. A bit like one of those stray cats who disappear for weeks on end before "bothering" to return home (exept in her case it was plain old forgetfulness and poor direction sense).

Nah, waiting's fine. It gives me time to read each gamebook before the next one comes out and the staggered release means that new guys who didn't know the series before won't get swamped by new releases and fail to notice some because others came up so quickly.

Unfortunately not :(. They couldn't get it to look right so they gave up on that idea and threw in the six novels free instead. Oh well, they'll be new releases set in a world that's almost as detailed and realistic as the Warhammer World so that'll have to do for now (unless we can persuade The Mong otherwise) :(.

My first book arrived in the post today :).

My second book arrived in the post today. It's about five weeks late but it's been worth the wait. The binding doesn't have the same issues as the first book did (the first one used to snap shut a lot). The quality's improved a lot and that's looking good for the rest of the line :).

I guess that was the delay. They probably got enough feedback that they decided to change how the books were bound.

Actualy the reason for the delay was that they were awaiting the author's approval on two or three of the new illustrations.

Ah good old licence issues. They can delay or derail many a project!
