Warpwolf WIP
« on: May 02, 2007, 08:13:40 AM »

I've been distracted by the arrival of my Hordes Circle army...

I decided that the problem with the model was the short and thin upper legs... so I decided to extend them around 3-4mm and thicken them a bit... I liked the results ;)

Nice work, they do look more powerful as a result.

Does it have dungeons?
Does it have dragons?
Does it have transients who kill things for money?  Do you roll a d20?

Not familiar with the "before" look, but those legs look like they were meant to be that way.  Well done.

It has got to be one of the most pain in the arse models to assemble ever. Each one of those twelve spikes is a separate bloody piece and they're so tiny it's really difficult to hold them in position while the glue dries.

With stuff that's a real pain to assemble I use a tiny amount of green stuff in the hole and then a drop of superglue, just push the peices in and it'll grab it.

I used the same trick of gi6ers for the spikes...

Now the only problem is how I transport this beast  :icon_scratch:

I need to decide if I keep putting putty on this beast or I jump to the next model...

Balgin -- I guess you haven't assembled your NL2 yet...

That could be because I don't have one.  :clap2:

Don't know the scale difference if any but Andy's (heresy) Werewolf with a bit of converting would fit in nicely with this guy.

Excellent work, it will fit in perfectly and unless you knew different you wouldn't spot it.  :icon_wink:

Well it's designed to stand on a 50mm display base. I don't know how big Andy's wolf is but I have a gut feeling this one's bigger.

I think so; this chap's twice the height of a standard 28mm/30mm (whatever!) character.

I love the conversion Andres. It is so smooth that it looks like it was meant to be that way. Keep us posted on what you do with the rest.
