OOC: I think I am going to change his spell to web since we are clearly going to be fighting. I'll choose when its his turn and see what the other guys do.

OOC: Each round represents a very brief period of time, say 6 seconds or so. The rules don't really allow for passing attacks in the way you describe but what you can do is move to Q21 and attack him there. As you're behind him, you'll get a +2 bonus to the attack roll, for a total bonus of +5 (+3 for being a 5th Level Thief, +2 for attacking from behind - such a Will tactic). As the sailor knows you are there, you can't make a Sneak Attack (very old-school!). If you do that you just roll normal damage - 1d6. But these guys are not trained fighters and are wearing no armour. There's a good chance that you'll kill him.

The questions we should be asking are these:
Does it have dungeons?
Does it have dragons?
Does it have transients who kill things for money?  Do you roll a d20?

OK, so we're back in 3.5! We'll keep the init order we have already. Will is up.
