I think their "Robot Legion" looks quite good, particularly the warbot:

Yeah - a lot of people on LAF have been talking about (and painting) Hydra minis of late.  I might have to get me some of these warbots in the future for some Victorian Science Fiction / Romantic Science gaming!

It's crying out to be painted like a Robot Bobby.

I have a couple of those for my "Yoshimi battles the pink robots" diorama, if I ever get around to it.

The arms are a bit on the short side, unfortunately, but workable

Also have several of the rocketeers.  Fun miniatures, but a bit on the large scale side, maybe 35mm or so?

Does it matter when they're robots? Could be built to any size really couldn't they?  :icon_wink:

no no no no -- the rocketeers are the humans, kind of flash-gordon types:

(sorry, they're "Galacteers")

Reminds me of the robot from a movie I saw with my son

Erm... snap... I hope we're not using the same Yoshimi...

Uh...  well, I'm at a bit of a disadvantage, I'm in the deep freeze, so my Yoshimi diorama is on hold 'til Spring.

Otherwise I'd challenge you to a paint-off!

I had no idea someone else was working on something like that...

I'm collecting all the bits together right now but it's going to be a present for a couple of friends who are getting married (and with whom I went to see the Flaming Lips in concert) but as yet there's no word on an actual date  (and I'm terrible at doing this kind of thing without a deadline) so at the moment it's just an exercise in expanding my lead mountain  :icon_mrgreen:
