Okay, here's your chance to add to my continually expanding to-do list.

Anything you particularly need, that you think we could do well? Stuff gaining some popularity here will get moved up in priority....

Stuff for sticking on bases, sold in categories:

Wild west - cow skulls, barrels, cactus etc
Fantasy - skulls - faasaands of 'em, broken weapons, tankards, treasure, gravestones etc
Sci-fi/Modern - cans, crystals, squashed metal barrels, erm, not many ideas here but I'm sure others might do.

Deep ones  :icon_suspicious:
Giants and Rhinomen  :icon_cool:

Car wrecks! (I know I know "Buy a car then make a wreck of it" but most of the time the interior detailing of carmodels aint detailed enough to make a good really wrecked wreck) And spare parts from cars such as tyres, motors and stuff. Generally stuff what might be found in a city garbage dump. Broken refrigerators, Old electrical stoves and so on.

Black cat does skulls.. its cheaper to buy in metal than resin.

I don't know how many of the other things would be cheaper too?

Hollow traffic cones? cast set in one side of the mould?

Right otherwise.. lets think.... people are skinflints.. they think nothing of spending £30 on a few figures for a unit but balk at spending that amount on a large piece of terrain.

Keep terrain pieces small like you are doing... er... well apart from the modular space colony buildings with lift off roofs and simplified detail inside at 1/100......... you know... or I HOPE you do and so does Hadley, we wouldn't want to LeaVe you with 426 other things to do.

if they were done as small buildings , that could be linked up to form a larger complex....

British Landrover (I think one has been done by Crouchie though) and Bedford trucks ( don't know about these).

French VBL  (anyone do French troops with beret and FAMAS?)

Actually, I notied the other day that you don't have the game systems listed in the title of some of the bases you've got on ebay, where the base size would be appropriate for that game system.  Is that something you'd want to do if you had the info?

Unfortunately it's something eBay keeps cracking down on - lots of IP lawyers with too much time on their hands looking for "unlwaful" use of their tradenames. Ebay themselves also don't like listing titles that use things like "warhammer" in their body text as it breaks their T&C. Plenty of people do it, true - but I've had my account suspended before for suggesting stuff was "suitable for XXXX", so it's not something I'll be doing.

I'm getting ready to base a few models, and as I'm lazy and cheap, a great combo, I think Fenris should make precut cork display base toppers for the do-it-yourself-er.

Round cork pieces sized to fit in the depression on top of the popular lipped display bases.

Now THAT's lazy!  :icon_wink: If there was a machine for cutting them (guess it would be fairly simple to design one...) or a way of casting cork it might work but doing it by hand seems an awful lot of work for massproduction doesn't it? You're looking at hundreds of handcut corkpieces here, and very boring and repetitive work at that. Surely these people have more artistic skill than to do slave labour of that kind?  :icon_wink:

Or maybe get suitably sized cork rods and slice them with a laser?  Maybe sharks with lasers?

The sharks are on holiday at the moment; but we can cut sheet cork on the laser.
