Ok I have been tidying up and cleaning out my modelling stuff... trying to consolidate

oh boiy I didn't realise I had so many duplicate paints.

144 Miniature paints ( full range is now 96 but I have the metallic greens and reds that they stopped making along time ago)

15 old armoury paints that are still usable (I threw 20 more away) do they still do these in the US?

70 Andrea and Valejo plastic bottles

30 GW hex bottles, 45 old flop tops

82 humbrol acrylics

then another three square feet of inks, craft colours, old GW eyedropper inks, tamiya colours and 1 litre bottles of miniature paints earth coffee chocolate and plum red.

plus the 24 spray cans of undercoat matt varnish and other effect paints for terrain.

and another fishing box full of alkyds, water soluble oils, normal oils and watercolours..

I have thrown away 2 carrier bags full of dead paint and dead superglue.. somehow I think I have too many paints

glass bottles on most of the duplicates, it would be cheaper to buy new ones than for me to give you them and you pay postage.

Is it just me or do you end up buying more paint because it's going cheep or great value for money, even if you have loads of it at home.  :tip-hat:

Like the 5 Acrylic paint set I got, each tube is 100ml and I got it for  :pound: 6.00 and it has the colours red, yellow, blue and the tones black and white in it.  :shrug:

I buy more paint because i put the paint in a container with the figures I am painting to keep it neat and tidy.

the box then gets put away and I forget about the paints.

Keeper need some GW Inks?.. old dripper style? :icon_wink: how about round flip top GW paints? "Airfix" enamels.

Atleast I now have them properly sorted..
a A3 drawer for Inks
A A3 drawer for Miniature paints
A4 draw for GW paints
A4 drawer for Old GW paints
A3 draw for Valejos

plus the over sized drawers for the Big tubs and craft paints.

heh, recently the local gameing store went out of buisness, AV's went for 1 € and the mini prices were insane, (greater demons and such for 5 €)  the short of vit is though that i bought almost all of the gamecolor, model color and model air line.... i have no idea where or what im going to do with them all.

Sure :)  Paints is the one thing in this hobby I've never really gone too mad on, perhaps because I've "inherited" several sets of paints from people who used to play with "Warhammers" as a teen.

But I'm pretty certain I don't need any airfix enamels - even though you can get some good effects if used properly :D

I'll ask about them when you tell me those figures have been cast :)

if you want to send me some of the old metallics and inks i wouldn't say no. they're the one real gap in my painting box and the current crop of paints doesnt do the job.

stick 'em in a box (like a GW mail order size one) and however many you can get for £3 worth of postage. then i'll get the cash over to you by paypal.
