More Wips
« on: April 14, 2008, 03:56:40 PM »

Been working on this today... part done. But its so cold the stuff I did last night and  paint I did this morning still hasn't set. So I brought it inside/

Cliffs and a dried up river bed in 28mm

the slope down from the cliffs hasn't come out well.

and the bridge still needs to be finished (the glue is drying  in the kitchen)

the bridge/overpass has collapsed on one section making a ramp up the bank

still have the top of the quayside to do. when this is dry and the glue is set.

its coming along..

Very cool mate, I'm counting on some pics from the frothers game, I've always wondered how my paintjobs will do in a game  :icon_cool:

Looking good already.  Can't wait to see the in-game photos from Salute :)

Just a shame that I can't make it this year :(

they don't stand up to close scrutiny.

Limited budget (what we can afford) limited time and a lot to do mean lots of corners are being cut.

eg paper kits as buildings (even though they have been photoshopped to within an inch of their lives to create the buildings)

cliff faces are still drying even though they have been painted.

this was a piece of plasterboard, and fullers earth cat litter

I think thats what it is.... 99p for a huge bag I have had for about 6 years.

I dyed a load (about a pint) with inks for brick dust/rubble and have about 8 litres left

Hey we used cereal to make a tower once. My motto is as long as it looks good it doesn't matter what it is.

lol you wanna check the prices of cat litter these days !!!  I'm thinking of investing in a cat flap or a set of corks.

Yep if it works then its ideal.  I dare not use it in case I come down in the morning to find a pressie on top of it from one of my cats.....they're so thoughful  :icon_w00t:

Those are great tones for a desert board. I haven't figured that bit out yet.
Explosions look good too.
Look forward to the finished product.
