GW Snipers
« on: March 21, 2008, 11:07:40 AM »

Here are my next projects.  This should post should be in the rant page but since this is where I will be showing my progress, I will post it here.

I spent about a few hours or so trying to get the thier chest emblems the way I wanted them.

Then after spending all that time on them I looked at what they are supposed to look like.

I can't see what you're getting upset about.  OK the Ultra Marines usually have a white/blue combo going on but these ARE scouts so maybe the hierarchy decided to use green for a bit of extra camouflage.  After all, they've gone as far as issuing camo-cloaks, why not issue camo-fatigues as well?  Also, the chest eagles have been dulled down to reduce glare.

They look like a great start to me and don't be afraid of coming up with a bit of fluff to explain a colour choice ;)

"Pah!" to what they say and "Yay" to what you think looks good!

Only a little work done.  If things would just calm down around me I could get some actual quality work done.  No scope work here so details are a little sketchy and transitions are not to my liking but I feel like if I don't try I will be putting these guys on my self of shame...
