Not quite sure where there supposed to go. Any clues?
Diagobnaly axcross the inside of the circular hoops on the sides of the chariot. Not the outside, on the inside where "people" can reach them and they won't drop off out of reach.
That's diagonaly across with the upper side towards the back and the lower end towards the front (think of them as quivers for arrows & javelins).
Is there enough room for the regular guys in front and the leader behind them? The dead horse is looking good.
If you want them both to fit in then you need to work out a very specific placing. They'll only fit one way and it looks unnatural but it works. They need to be side by side with the whipper/driver facing forwards (whip raised) and the warrior standing sideways (think archer/violinist stance with the feet).
I had to assemble a unit of five or six of these as a comission a few years ago and the crew only really seem to fit in one way (and even then one of them's got a foot almost half off the back of the chariot).
