You know Perv, you aren't the only one who collects OOP Dwarves, I'm currently painting my way through a unit of 20 Imperial Dwarves I got really cheap on eBay, already undercoated, based and with magnetic bases and a unit tray.

Show me them when you've finished please Squigface.  Theres a few of the imperial ones I think are hard to paint as they havent very defined areas on them

Sure thing Perv, you are right though some of the areas are undefined and a lot of them are quite rough, I might have to add a thin layer of GS to some bits so that I wil be able to paint them well.

Those Perry Bros Dwarfs are my favourites purely because sheer amount of different models, put them next to a Marauder one though and you can see a massive difference in detail.  I even find drybrushing chainmail to be a bit tricky on the Perry Bros ones, going round with a pin or needle to deepen some of the mail holes may be an idea b4 painting too  :icon_wink:

My Dwarf army's colours are Black, green and yellow, I think it looks quite striking yet not Garish :D

green and yellow go well together, the black also sets off both well, a nice choice.  I am a sucker for blue and yellow so will have a few in that scheme.

The Andrea Miniatures Alice in Wonderland figure came thru today, wow !!!  Its a great piece and on par with the quality of the Bob Olley Sculpts, its that good !!!

Yeah, it makes a fairly neutral colour-scheme (good for earthly dwarves) but the yellow creates some contrast/"pop" :)
