2007 Charcon Painting Competition Online Voting

[Jabberwocky]

Congrats to the winners!  Some good looking pieces...a tough competition to be sure.  I look forward to the next one.

This was just the online voting. These result are not necessarily the winners. I will announce the official winners once I have compiled all of the information from the convention (about a day or so).

[Custom_Hobby]

The team has compiled all of the voted from the judges and the winners are:

Gold Kyrie
#15 Empire Warrior Priest with OSL hammer (painted by Rob Cardiss)

Silver Kyrie
# 3 Ashlee Campbell, Zombie Hunter - Hasslefree Miniatures (painted by George Mickelson)

Bronze Kyrie
# 5 Ilyad Barbarian (painted by Matthew Braid)

The winners can either PM or email me their addresses so I can ship them their prize packages. I want to thank everyone who participated this year and those who voted.

Woo! Third! Seriously, this is better than I imagined! I'm pretty chuffed now!
Congrats to the winners, and all the entrants. Some great stuff!

And a big thank you to Mike, for running and sponsoring the competition! It wouldn't have happened without your work!

[ryan]

well done to everyone who participated, especially the winners :clap2:

Thanks Matty. The competition was a success due to the great entries and all of the interest this year. I hope to see it grow over the years along with Charcon.

Congrats to forum member Eastman, for placing second in the competition as well.

any news on the 'in person' comp?  who placed and what was the standard like?

[Custom_Hobby]

I am waiting on the pictures and I will post that in this thread once I have them. Still a lot of post con sorting.

Hi Guys ...Rob cardiss here..wow winner that's pretty cool...chuffed.. I feel a little guilty as I have't been on the boards and then walk in and win a comp...There's some cracking models in there look forward to seeing the other stuff and hopefully hanging out on here a bit in my ever decreasing web time..
Thanks for letting me enter and also the compliments on my work very much appreciated...
Rob

Just wondering when we should expect the Kyrie Trophy Miniatures.

In the next two weeks, sorry for the delay. The figures are in hand, the printer is late with the certificates.
