Dwarf Queen Helgar
« on: February 04, 2007, 04:19:13 PM »

Stumbled across this little 'beauty' on ebay and had to get her....only problem was that she was lacking a removable shield and I don't have any..

Any volunteers? Do they do dwarf shields with the decoration sculpted on as I don't fancy freehand.

Oh and do you like the paintjob?

Paint job is great - very regal - Marauder used to do some fab shields (ah the Dark Elf ones were beautiful...  :icon_whaaaaa:) Not sure where you could get hold of some these days...

The questions we should be asking are these:
Does it have dungeons?
Does it have dragons?
Does it have transients who kill things for money?  Do you roll a d20?

Unfortunately I donated all my shields to the club's bits box a while ago but I may still have some spares (since the club's bits box doesn't exist any more).

top bloke!

The one on the right looks perfect, seems a shame to send on it's own though...fancy a mystery mini exchange, chuck something random in with it, I'll do the same and we both post them in the gallery?

Obviously exchange is a secret until you get the mini...

EDIT: sorry I meant second from the right...I didn't scroll across :icon_redface:

Plastic GW dwarf shield with crossed axe's or the metal Spartan one with the cloth hanging from it.

Now where do i keep those extra crud*py figure's that i have for melting down to cast with...  :icon_whistling:

You do know that it will be something strange that i will send you.  :toothy12:

EDIT: Forgot to spell check.

judging by why Wristy finds normal, something he calls strange might be a bit extreme...

I have extra plastic shields, too, can't be bothered with them right now...  okay maybe.

great paintjob mate, I think a smaller shield would look better and not a round one.  round shields are too common for a woman to be using, women have better taste than men (us hetrosexuals anyway) and dress better so give her something special.  There are loads of shields about on ebay, plastic and metal.  I have a few but dont want to part with them

The round one from Wristy looks good, I've got some others from HF but they don't really work so I'll go with that I think. Problem with using a different shield would be that I have to use freehand - I don't think it'll work with this mini.
