 Eep.  I totally missed the last three responses, sorry guys.

@Custom_Hobby   Thank you.  :)

@perv Yes, I do.  Feel free to PM me.

@Bodhi  Here's a completely freehanded sketch of a Celtic Cross I did several days after visiting a cemetary, no photo references used.

@Bungle Afraid not.  Never been there.

@Medved   That Shakespeare's Theatre is in Montgomery, Alabama.  Ours doesn't have a butterfly farm :(  but it does have sculpture everywhere and in lots of little hidden nooks.  Partly, I think, because there is also a fine art museum sharing the large grounds with them.

Excellent, I really like your style with a pencil, I'd like to see it as part of a larger landscape.

Haven't missed much....  :icon_wink:

You have the same name as a girl I used to go to life classes with while at school. I just thought it was a strange coincidence.

Thanks.  :)   I have another cross in a field that I'm working on.  I'll show it when I finish it.

While doing the auction stuffies for ebay, I've snapped more pics of the artwork I did earlier this year.  Here are two of them.

"Hoping for the Big One"  in Colored Pencil:

"Riverfront Park" in Colored Pencil:

Stunning work Maya. I wish I had a 10th of the skill to do that.

Superb :)  They're both really nice, but I think I prefer the first.  I don't know if it is the title or the scale of the opposite riverbank, but I kind-of expect a large herbivourous dinosaur to come down through those trees for a drink at any moment!
