i'd like to see us chatting and sharing good experiences of the hobby:  be it a fun mini to paint, ideas on other brands in your field of interest.

basicallly to know why you are enjoying the hobby and what part you are involved in.  we all have our areas of expertise and can use this forum to share knowledge and enthusiasm about the hobby.

Great idea. My intention is to have a place where I can keep people up to date on CH. Discuss my ideas and then also just talk about all aspects of the hobby. So I will add more area for all of that I just need specifics pointed out (even if they seem obvious since I am being pulled in a million directions at once).

Could be a technique: Drybrushing? NMM (no chance!), a Keyword - Blood, rage, cutesie?

Different types of comps, painting, sculpting, conversion and dioramas.
Keep them open to any companys figures, i think restricting them would put people off entering.

I went in and changed the size settings for avatars. So if you have a larger image feel free to add it.

Sounds good. We are still getting a lot together and there have already been plenty of good ideas tossed into the mix. No rush on anything.

I went ahead and added three new sections under the Hobby Workbench tab: reviews, web design & hosting, and mini photography. Thanks for the suggestions Dave. as always if there is anythin you think we should do just post it here we can move forward from there.
