So long as the hobgoblin doesn't advance first eh? :) SPlitting attacks or bundle all into one? I'll let you revise the decision to split if one of them hurts you first :p.

I'll leave it at one for right now. I know if he kills the first one (with good rolls) in one hit you will just have him attack the other.

Even if there is anything left to do, Rhana will wait where she is, making sure we're not outflanked, and waiting for the others to finish off those dirty hobgolins.

In the incredibly unlikely event that they get through the others, Rhana will have a Lightning Bolt spell ready ;)

(since the goblins haven't done their actions yet I don't know which will be closest once it's her turn)

The hobgoblin steps a square closer to Dekion drawing it's curved shortsword. It then slashes pathetical at him (would've even missed a touch attack with it's attack roll of 10).

Dekion then steps between the two hobgoblins for maximum cleave potential (plus he's got an attack left over if he kills it with a single hit). His first attack (14) hits the scantily clad (ac13) hobgoblin for 11 damage. It's still alive. His second attack is a natural 20 (26), the critical confirmation roll is a 19 (nat 13) which hits so he causes another 28 damage.

It only had 28hp to begin with so that's a bit of overkill. He cleaves at the second hobgoblin and hits for another critical threat (scimitar threats on 18's, remember), the confirmation roll is a total of 21 (after the 24) so he deals out a whopping 23 damage. It's still alive but only just.

Sarian steps around the corner and fires into melee (ouch). He misses the hogboblin (11 with the standard 4 point penalty), but is close enough to shoot Dekion whom he also manages to miss (second attack roll 8). I've deducted the arrow from his status thread.

Next up Ellion charges the remaning hobgoblin (I think it's going down folks). She hits ac24 (no threat) for 11 damage. That's 34 damage, disgustingly it still has a single hit point left! So it's been clobbered for over half it's hp, then clobbered for over half it's hp again, twice in the same round. Well Dekion hurt it more so it's going to try to punch him. Why? Well drawing it's weapon would take it's single action (clobbered) so it can't both draw steel and attack. So both Dekion & Ellion gets an attack of opportunity on it (Dekion's power attack bonus & penalty still applies).

Ellion hits it for 7 damage and Dekion strikes it for 11. It's very very dead now.
