another minor update.

My friend got a big box of things from his friend for £20 including a lemon russ, an ork looted lemon russ, 20 crons with lord, 3 scarab swarms and a destroyer, 10 epic nids and some bigger epic nids (hive tyrants, ravenars etc), 12 fantasy chaos warriors, 8 old bloodletters, a champion, a sorceror, a 40k khorne jugernought, 3 chaos space marine bikes, 12ish chaos marines, 5 possessed, a chaos lord, 5 metal imperial guards, 4 goblins (which were on the looted russ), a goblin shaman, a white (vampire counts) and a tech marine.

being the good friend he is he gave me what is in those pics for paying the PnP for adding his birthday present to a mail order I did (and he didn't want them). With a few bits I also made my yuan-ti's spear (white added for scale, it's big, but can be smaller if it needs to be)

Do the different colours of kroot taste different, when they're eaten by something bigger? :D

Have you finished these skin colours, are were you going to add another layer of highlight?

The fluff (background) behind my kroot is essentially it is one master shaper building his army to fight a new eldar threat, so he is calling kroot from all over to fight under his banner. Each tribe of kroot has sent him one squad of kroot, and so he has an army (my army). Each squad is from a different planet also fighting the eldar, and since they have been fighting for supremecy on the same planet for so long they have addapted the opposed craftworld of eldar's colour sheme for a slight advantage over them (as the eldar would rely on their long ranged weaponry to take out such a combat supreme force, they wouldn't be 100% sure they were shooting kroot instead of their own men in the usually dust and ash covered planets were visibility is usually minimal. So it is a temporary mercinary army untill this uprising threat is subdued.

so each squad is painted as a different eldar craftworld.

Iybraesil - vultures
Iyanden - stalkers 2
Saim-han - carnivores 2
Ulthwe - carnivores 1
Zahr-tann - hounds 1

not in my army:
Nacretinei - trackers
Tir-val - carnivores 3

and they are fighting Yme-loc

so any dead eldar on the ground will be yme-loc, and any on the kroot themselves will be of their craftworld
