With a little help from my friends

You know that thing where sometimes you get really sick of a paintjob? Stuff just won't go right and you end up leaving it for ages. Well sometimes an enthusiastic friend offers to help you finish them off and you go "yeah, okay" and make it a collaborative effort between the two of you.

Well, the Cav Girl was one such shared job (although I did most of that one). These two were shared with the same guy (although I did a lot less of the painting on them than I had on the CavGirl where basicaly only the metal bits like her keypad thing and gun needed doing).

They've both got a bit of flatmodelism syndrome and I think that's what put me off finishing them myself.

Also if anyone can work out how we achieved that skintone on the top girl I'd be very interested in advice. He fixed it (my effort was very close to that but came out a bit greeny). I'd like to replicate a similar skintone (only slightly darker) for Kess (when I get her). For those of you who don't know who Kess is, don't worry, you'll know eventualy.

The top girl looks like she's got something like Citadel Snakebite Leather (or maybe a bit lighter) as her highest skintone.

Dunno if that helps

Really nice minis, though.  I'm loving all of the minis that you've posted in the last few days.  Thanks Balgin! :)
