I LOVE that Gnoll (I've allready posted this on Frothers) and I love your other work as well. But Gnolls (and hyenas) have a special place in my heart. Nice as it is to see these pictures some more in detail pics from the armature on up would be even better  :icon_wink: I'm curious on your method for building up the viry musculature. Do you do it ecorche' wise  by building up from a skeleton and adding muscle by muscle or do you work in large blocks. You have a great feel for anatomy, among the best I'd say.

1. Doing a bunch of cool stuff for Nathan Caroland/Wyrd at the mo.

2. Bodhi.. I tend to do anatomy muscle area by area, it's the best way to get crisp separation.

For example on an upper arm the sequence would be:

Rough bone shape over armature- leave to dry.
- Tendon strip to elbow.
- Tricep
- Bicep
-Brachialis

So I end up with several small blisters that I can further define and shape.
If it comes out too defined, just go over the edges with another layer.

- Procreate is better for this as it blends in more easily than Greenstuff.

 I'm sure the mysterious 'Otherworld' has a long list in mind.. there're a lot of fun critters in that old MonsterManual.

I'd describe the above critter as ' Old Skool Unleashed'   :icon_saber:
