This post is for those of you who don't visit FOD as often as you should.

Okay, so one Tyriel's going on the base she came with but the other one hasn't picked a perch yet (she's got so many options to choose from).

Current favourite is this pillar (with tiled floor, some skulls and two fluer de lis').

Yep, she really would need to stand that close to the edge (corner of the square bit under the pillar) but I might be able to fudge angles a bit.


Anyway, there's also these lovely cobbled stone bases from Patrick Keith (who doesn't seem to do miniatures as much as he used to these days :().
Tyriel's sister (already standing on her own two feet) is overseeing these floros for stability and size (if her sister in faith gets the big base then she might get jealous but it's got skulls on it so it can't be all that pure).





Someone suggested doing a Tyriel/Monique diorahma (or however you write the bloody stupid sounding word). It could be awkward. The size jump from 40 to 54's bigger than you'd think (you'd expect it to be the same as 25/28 to 40 but it seems like a much larger step up).




The reason Monique's still in this state is that there's a huge evil mold line on the inside of her skirt (yeah, the inner surface of that curve, too narrow to get at easily and just big enough for it to be really easy for everyone to see :().

Well folks, which base do you think the holy girl should go on?

Balgin, instead of trying to remove the mould line, have you tried covering it?  I reckon that if you used smoe watered down miliput and painted it over the line, after a few coats you would have covered it.

Just a thought (and it should be relatively simple - no sculpting you see).

I think that she should be mounted on the base with the broken pillar.  Just because I think she'd look good in front of it :)

Have you got some of those mini diamond files from Heresy?  It looks like you could get one in that gap.  I bought some a couple of weeks ago and I've have a bit of a file on just about every mini I could get my hands on since!

BAlgin I think you should use the large base. Keeper had a good suggestion with those diamond files. I have them and they are great. Inso also had a good one if you can't pull it off with the files.

Plus the bottom of her skirts isn't recessed to match the raised detail on her default base so she looks awkward on it. I'll still need to do something about that but she's got her own thread buried somewhere around here.
