As said elsewhere that is great, especially like the face  :clap2:

Great paint job on the sculpt.

Criticism.

you missed the matt varnish on the rear of the left boot, and the front groin cloth looks very glossy.

easily remedied but you don't get my 9.5 till they are  :icon_wink: (nothing ever gets a perfect 10)

Fair enough mate, I think thats a superglue splodge on the left boot and I haven't dullcoted this yet... :icon_wink:

Doesn't deserve a CMON 10  by any means, especially as no NMM was involved  :icon_cool:

Speaking of which...

You've got so much of this down, the metals are starting to become the weak link.  The sword blade looks a little flat to me, and the highlights on the pauldrons isn't great.  The golds, the chainmail, and the lower half of the armor however came out great.

That being said, this is a fantastic job.  That face is unbelievably good; the eyes are full of life.

Can't wait to see those reaper dwarfs painted!

Couldn't agree more, I'm working on it.

I think the metals work.

NMM looks silly on a figure in real life.

looking at the shoulders, there could be some darker shadows where the plates overlap.

But the rest could be nautual lighting effects or paint.... it is used armour... a rough repaird surface not some highly polished thing in a museum.

I like this one very much.  It's a great sculpt, brought to life with a fantastic face and great painting overall :clap2:.

I know I need to take my highlights higher with all my painting, I think it's my main weakness.

I aim for gritty realism and don't like painting stuff as new and shiny....I do agree that the contrast could've been better on the metals overall, just got some good advice on FU:UK too.

Thanks for the feedback folks!!!!

I paint mine to shiney new look and then use brown and black ink glazes to dull and age them.

Your Eye's have also improved as well.  :icon_wink:

I would have bronzed the face and small shield on his right shoulder to break up the metal a bit and the gem lack's life and look's chipped or something at the top.

All the good stuff has been said and i agree with them also.  :clap2:

This is both an awesome sculpt AND an awesome paintjob.  Well done.
