No, not the computer game (which Illiani and myself are loving to bits) but the roleplaying game that Green Ronin have produced under licence!

They've put up a few preview pages here and here and have announced that they'll be selling the pdf version of the boxed set tomorrow and that the physical version will be available to preorder at the same time (but won't get released 'till sometime in january).

Oh yes. The rules are nicely simple and flow really smoothly. I'm not sure how suited to a pbf it would be because of the nature of dice in conflict resolution being slightly more complex and nobody playing in any of my games at the moment :(. I keep meaning to post more updates (but I'm having such a great time playing Dragon Age and it's hard to update if nobody's posted anything since my last post, as is the case in some places). I'll see what I can do about updates over the next week or so.

I know I have been missing from the games and am sorry for that. If all goes well I should be back into it all very soon. The holidays have keep me tied up.

Well my copy's finaly arrived and I'm all exited about playing it sometime in the near future. The rules are easy to learn and it plays smoothly. After I'd made my first character I found I could knock one up in about eight minutes and you can learn the core rules in about half an hour. The setting might take a little longer to get to know but that's what play sessions are for.

Unfortunately, whilst simple, the way the rules use dice wouldn't translate well into a PBF game unless handled in a backwards sort of way. When attempting actions, dice rolls can result in stunt points which players can sue to do cool stuff (like knock a monster down or disarm a bandit). You can't really declare intent and then attempt the deed. Rather declare vague intent, make an attempt and see how many stunt points you got and what they'll let you do. Then describe it in a really cool cinematic way. The best way to handle it would be for the GM to post if a player got stunt points then the player narrate the results. It could get complicated.

It's ahell of a lot of fun to play 'though :).
