First of (hopefully) several releases this month, timed purely by chance to coincide with a certain re-released boardgame.

Loving the flooring

How do you plan to provide it?

Matching in with bases is top idea too.

How do you plan to provide it?

Floors will be a 6mm thick slab of resin for stability; also allows enough thickness to countersink rare earth magnets on joints to make the board stick together nicely. Plan is to offer individual tiles and group sets so people can buy to suit their budgets. Walls will come later, again in a range of price options. They're made with a 6mm underhang that sits onto the tile surround - so if you don't want/can't afford the walls, the tiles have a wall "thickness" scribed onto them that works visually went painted up accordingly.

My original designs, done about 6 years ago, were much more "individual" but I've realised since that doing the whole set that way will take an age. Redesigning now with more modular repeating designs to a)make the masters faster b)make moulding significantly faster and c) make the whole thing cheaper.

That said, our laser's dropped badly out of alignment today and the earliest we can get it serviced is next Monday. Bloody typical, when I'd set aside a whole week purely for Fenris stuff :/

Next release for September: the long-threatened DWF Humvee.


First cast out of the moulds, tacked together for the pics, so ignore any gaps or blobby bits  :icon_wink:

This is the first variant on last year's softskin model, more to come yet.

11 piece kit, separate roof, wheels, spare, stowage, snorkel, exhaust and aerial.

Minor vents and casting issues to sort and then it'll be in the shop, similar price to the softskin.

Encouraged / persuaded by the response to the last batch of DS bullnose-profiled Sulaco bases, I've finally mastered some standard chamfered-edge style bases and started converting our whole range to this new profile.

First up and in the shop tomorrow: 25 and 40mm sulaco for all your hulking great space-type games; and 25 and 40mm dungeon tile for old-skool dungeon type denizens. Also added tomorrow, cobble setts in 20 and 25mm chamfered squares. Finishing the set, 50 and 60mm DS sulacos.

The bases and tiles are amazing. I can think of immediate uses for almost all of them.

Yup. These were the prototype not-hulk walls I made a few years back then put onto the back-boiler. I'm redesigning them now to be a little more generic - mainly to keep costs down, as originating each and every wall would have kept me busy till we're flying round in real space hulks  :icon_eek:

Yup. These were the prototype not-hulk walls I made a few years back then put onto the back-boiler. I'm redesigning them now to be a little more generic - mainly to keep costs down, as originating each and every wall would have kept me busy till we're flying round in real space hulks  :icon_eek:

good news then, and just a bit of FYI there are 12 termies in the box, might want to sell them in packs of 6 or 12
