Golden IMP Award

[Keeper]

Last Saturday I went along to the Sheffield Irregular's IMP event, which was held in Patriot Games in Sheffield.  It was a great day for a small event, with a painting comp, a speed-painting comp, painting tutorials and most importantly, cake! :)

I entered some of the categories in the Golden IMP painting competition, and no-one was more surprised than I when I won Bronze in the Unit category with my Hasslefree WWI Hobbits!

I will take a better picture of them in the next few days, but I also entered them earlier in the year in the LAF LPL3 competition - which was fine.  The rules for the golden IMP were that they should be painted this year.  This was my LPL3 entry:

And for those of a nervous disposition, they should look away now, as the following photo contains a picture of me, with a medal! :)

OK, better pics, as promised!!

Clearly photography is still one of my weak points, but I keep working on it! :)  Used a tripod and a white top on my photobox, this time!
