Title: Want somewhere to play, try a castle.........................pics
Post by: Bruenor Odinson on February 27, 2007, 03:59:11 AM
About a month ago I started building a cardstock castle that I bought the PDF files from Worldworks Games (http://worldworksgames.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=15&zenid=1f9d65fac32d8b7bda94afdc45195801), and after a copule of ink carts and 3 packs of cardstock it's nearly finished, just some minor nicknacky bits to add, like interior stuff, and some more ladders and flags, and door awnings that sort of thing.

Lot of work, especially using some of the Villageworks (http://worldworksgames.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=24) buildings, having to make the interiors, but well worth it in the long run, there's 14 areas for the players to go into, one being a portal only entrance, the top of the plaster building as that's my main Necromancer's workshop and cannot be entered by coventional means.

So now my players can quest through a village and into a great castle, for super great quests.

Anyway enough ramble your here to see the pictures, right?

Thanks folks.
CH, that's why I love the WWG stuff so much, it's so versatile, you could easliy build Hogwarts using the CWU set, and if you also bought the Castle and Keeps interiors you could really kit it out!!!

Somebody built Weathertop, and added minis to recreate the scene when the Hobbits and Strider are attacked by the Ringwraiths.
Looked well cool.
It's somewhere in the WWG gallery

did anyone see Capt Jack on Al Murrays happy hour last week?   I had heard some bad things about Cap'n Jack but he seems quite a nice bloke.  Al Murrays show is my favourite at the moment and never fails to cheer me up  :icon_razz:
