@agentmolar, it's a particularly nasty knife, but it's tucked back and he could be painted with a corn cob, but he's got a gagging rag in the other hand and i don't want to contemplate the possibilties

Umm my mind is obviously twisted. I still cant see the knife..

Blade goes behind his underarm, handle is seen (am I right...?) so blade can't be seen from this angle.
