Thought its a lot better value than paying £2 for 18ml odd from the mini paint manufacturers.  I used over half a bottle of GW black ink just doing my tower.... 

I mean how wrong can someone go with black ink?  As long as its acrylic then it should be ok right?

Inks should be fine whereever you get them, I think Windsor and Newton are some of the best out there..

Acrylics are different quality, but the best bet is to try them and let us know.

Order a couple and then write a review.

The thing with Art paints is you have to water them down more as they tend to be very thick and that can mean more coats to get the same resault.
I use some myself, my Black Orc's skin was done using a green Arm pit, for building's and such it does work out a lot cheaper and black primer helps too.  :icon_wink:

I haven't used that particular brand, but I've used some generic acrylic colours from Hobbycraft, for scenery and such, and found it to be fine, so long as you thin it a little and use it in with couple of coats.

I shall be using it on the terrain for my DoD, for example :D

An additional unforseen benefit was that it was easy to use to paint Mr Men on the walls of the kids' room, too! :)

I'll grab a 500 ml black soon and let you know what its like.  If its thick thats ok as 500ml becomes 1 litre when thinned  :icon_wink:  Just gonna fill up the old citadel pot as I dont like the sound of the way it comes out "hold upside down and squeeze"....  Thats just asking for trouble  :icon_scratch:

I intend to use it for terrain too as I have a couple of Coat d'arm black inks still full but fingers crossed it'll be fine for minis as well

lol can you imagine trying to paint that room in citadel colours...2000 quid later....its done !!!

One liter bottles, some water, and the paint... a solid plan :icon_wink:
