Title: Empty bottle for storing paint in
Post by: Dr.Evil on July 10, 2007, 06:44:55 AM
Found an extra cheep place to get bottles with attached labels and they are air tight as well, handy for mixing and storing paint in and you can write what paint and mixtures you used on the label.

Did i forget to say where....  :angel7:

NHS it's the sample bottles (unused ones that is) i got give three of them over the counter when i asked for them and only needed one in 5 months time.
Every time your in ask for some at reception but don't do it too often or they will catch on.  :icon_wink:
Don't know if it's the same in other country's.

Reminds me of a joke

Old guy walks into a Dr's surgery and goes to the receptionist: "I need an emergency appointment please"

Receptionist: An emergency? what's seems to be the problem?
Old Guy: It's my nob....
R: You can't say that! Go away and come back and ask again later when you've learnt to be more polite.

Old guy wanders off then comes and tries again

OG: I need an emergency appointment
R: OK, what's seems to be the problem?
OG: It's my ear
R: What seems to be the matter with it?
OG: I can't piss out of it

National Health Service - badly run state health service.

When my daughter was in intensive care, after she was born (she was and is fine, just 10 weeks early) I took the opportunity to liberate a number of bottles and containers that they would have thrown away for incineration, but had just had stuff like milk in them, and all they needed was a good wash :)

Yay for the NHS :)  Well, sometimes, anyway.

At work we use plastic film canisters to do the same job. Obviously, in this bright and wonderful digital age there are far fewer of those around - but your local camera supplies outlet probably still throws boxes of the things away. Similar size to your average paint pot, airtight lids, and just as easily written on with a permanent marker or CD pen :)
