Hello, I know some of us are on the CCM group as well so just wanted to let everyone know that I ordered the figures from Steve Mussared and I had an excellent service. There have been issues in the past with this seller apparently where people didnt get the figures they had paid for but Steve has refunded all the people who he missed without question so if you ask me, this is not the actions of a rip off merchant.
The quality of the figures are excellent and I am REALLY happy with the ones I got. I went for the Dwarf Kings Court, Orc Champion and Orc Champion on Giant Lizard. The Giant Lizard is in Resin\Plastic but the rest are all metal. I didnt go for the Mounted Dwarf Champion as the horse looks like its too small a scale for the rider, this figure just doesnt look right to me so beware that one.
I ordered my figs Friday evening and they were with me on Monday morning, he charges a standard £5 delivery charge no matter what you order so it pays to get a few rather than the odd figure.
There arent many of these figs left so I'd get in quick if you wanted some.
I've not had a problem with Steve either, found him very nice to speak to at Partizan, and bought some stuff from him.
I guess we all go through bad patches and it looks like he's trying to make good on anything that went bad, shame that some folks won't let him.
Thanks for the post Perv. I was looking into those and will make sure to get in there before they are gone now. I hope they make the 'dwarf casting a miniature.' It does seem like some of it was taken personally and despite his efforts to fix things, people are refusing to bury the hatchet.
Yeah it seems everyone wants to slag him off but no one will pipe up in his defence. Out of the hundreds of figs hes sold for the CCM group you would have thought one of the buyers would help defend him. Even the people who he refunded since he came back to the list didnt say a word about it.....
The Orc Champion is large, may be 40mm scale actually but its a great figure. The Orc on Lizard is normal scale 28mm though
I have heard Steve has on occasion been slow to deliver, mainly when he is out of stock and waiting for casts.
But I have never experienced this myself, he has always been good for my orders, even the large ones of 50 or so 40mm miniatures... offering alternatives if he is out of stock, or sending them on a week or so later.
He even sent me some of his own cleaned and primed figures once because thats all the stock he had.
So no complaints from me.
Not many sellers would do that for people. :clap2:
I think that Dwarf Forging a miniature will come out, eventually. I am sure I have seen a picture of it somewhere and I liked it. The Dwarf is forging a fig, the Elf is painting a fig, I'm sure there was another one that was sculpting a fig....
I have seen the elf, want to see the dwarf and never even heard of the one sculpting.
I could be dreaming that 3rd figure..... :icon_scratch:

What I love about the Mier elf is that the figure he is painting is himself in the same pose in his hand.
lol yeah that is a nice touch, I just dont like Elves too much or would have got him.
