Well i've been working on this for the last month or so and finally managed to get the base finished.
The Scorpy king himself is a converion of Heresy's Giant scorpion (well durr) and the torso of the Heresy Manbat.
The Girl is a straight up non-converted Kaylee (b) from Hasslefree miniatures and the base is the most excellent Harem Diorama base sculpted by the amasingly talented Simon Harris (slightly converted to age it a bit)
I'm quite pleased with the end result even though it tested my patience at times.
One thing i can say is it'll be a little while before i take on anything this big again....

Impressive! That's certainly a piece to be proud of! That's an inspired conversion for the scorpion man, and these two have a great battle dynamic, as though they were sculpted to go together! Very well done!

The conversions are excellent and seemless, the painting is as we'd expect from you (Lonewolf :icon_wink:) and the idea behind it is great :clap2:.
The plants are cool except for the Ivy which actually looks like tinsel (sorry...but it does :shrug:).
The one thing out of the whole diorama that I find disappointing is the positioning of the minis on the base. The one mini that you poured conversion into, is the one mini that has it's back to us and it's a real shame. I don't know whether swapping the minis round would improve it for me, but it's a shame that there isn't an easier view of the scorpion king :icon_sad:.
