I've been meaning to finish these off for ages and have finally done it:

They represent grenadiers in my IG army (Stormtroopers without the special rules).
Very cool, I'd have been tempted to go with a darker red for the berets but they work really well.
After looking at old Doctor Who figure's last night all i can think of is the Unit guy's when i look at them, it's the Hat's. :icon_wink:
You have given them a whole new feel with a small simple conversion, top mark's. :clap2:
And the painting is stop on too. :icon_wink:

Great little conversion, show how much difference a little change can make.
I'd love to see a battle rep style photo of these chaps facing down soem Tyranids or similar.

I'm glad you like them...because I really do :icon_wink: (it's not very often that a conversion makes you as happy as these have for me...it's the para thing I think :icon_scratch:).
As well as the berets, I have added a comms unit on one of the lasses and two railguns have been added to replace SMGs (they will 'count as' melta guns).
As for a battle report pic...I suppose in the future I could dig out a bit of scenery and a few Tyranids or somesuch... :icon_ermm:...it may take a while.
I'm on to the next squad for my army now...not quite as exciting because there are no conversions...it's a specialist squad with 3 snipers in.
Berets are worn in the style of the FFL paras.....
same bright red too.
