I don't own them so....can't sorry.

But its a great idea.

I wonder if conversions would be a possibility - St George the Dark elf on a cold one killing a mammalian "dragon"?

interesting idea for a mini comp

that is a great idea, Bungle. I just happen to have the awesome Dark Elf hero on Predator from GameZone here, but no mammal-dragon  :icon_sad: what would that look like?  :icon_scratch:

Manticore or griffen instead of the dragon then.

I happen to have a spare "St. George and the Dragon" for £8.00 not including P&P.  :icon_suspicious:

mammalian??  thought it was reptillian?   :icon_scratch:

Anyway, the Salute set is a small dragon killing a horse, and st. george threatening it with his sword, more or less.

But if the "knight" is riding a reptile.... maybe the dragon shouldn't be a reptile too.... thats all I was thinking

Anyone had any more thoughts on this? Not that I can talk having ducked out of it to use my 'dragon' for a nekkid half-elf sorceress' steed.

Further thoughts on a mammalian 'dragon': a giant badger  :icon_razz:, a chalicothere http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chalicothere (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chalicothere), a ground sloth, glyptodont http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glyptodont (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glyptodont), or a giant bat...

(Guess who was the kid who liked books about prehistory? OK, I still am that kid; when I go to London I always want to go to the Natural History Museum!)

I'm thinking......... if were not going with the conversion comp I have a plan... but no dragon.  Warm blooded George and mount

Gotta find one first.

ral partha Cold Drake 01-072 £6.95

01-139    Blue Dragon £7.50
(https://www.connectstores.com/ralpartha/images/01-139.jpg)

are the two I am thinking of... but i have never painted a dragon

Oh BTW.. Chalico's ... loved them from the descriptions in the Julian May books

I may have some suitable figures if you need one Bungle. Let me poke through those old boxes this weekend.

Also I will stop playing around and work on the final plan for the next comp too.
