Monster WIP (LOTs of cool detail!!!), just had a wash and a couple of colours on his brain. He will have a greenish tinge to his skin.

Thats why he is the master of speed painting (done well). Both of them look good.
you can probably tell that I'm a bit of a fan of the Frankenstein story by my avatar. I'm a little intimidated by the detail on the big fella but I'll have a go, that might take me a little longer than 2 and a half hours though.
These people who can't make a base. :angry2:
Great work, lovely skin but is there any blood on the base, going by the blood on him there should be some tramped across the base.

Or don't want to coz they can't be arsed!
There is loads of blood in a pool on the base...he's got a messy hobby :icon_twisted:
Base is a bit too dark to see it right or maybe a angled top view might show it better.
Yep a top view would be nice. Matt did you ever ghet the other Frank (Beauty & the Beast) from frothers when they had it? I just got the master.
No I haven't got the frothers sets..I know Alex Bews/Witchhunter did a great version of yours though...
I just got the green in the mail. Arron from black Crab Sculpting is the person who sculpted it. He changes it from an integrated base to a slotta tab for me.
Speed demon of a painter. Looks good. :icon_cool:
AM keeping track of the monster progress on the FOD too:

didn't think I did the Dr. that quick, two and a half hours is ok for a small human IMO. My priming method makes it quick too.
So do you mainly do washes for the basics?
what green over the Codex grey?
I always zenithal prime to bring out detail and then base coat, wash in shadows, highlight and glaze.
The green is a mix of fortress grey and camo green with more white added for highlights, washed with liche purple.
I tend to glaze as I go to tie in my shocking layering. The current WIP took 5-ish layers and a couple of glazes.
Very thin washes too. Its effective.
