was thinking the other day that this might be something for you. a set of bases with manholes, could even make few where the cover is a perate peice that goes into the hole on the base, (two sided cover?)

I've had a sprue of manholes on my to-do list for a good while. Even taken photos of particularly nice-looking versions in London, Prague and Italy this year.
I'll move 'em up the list :)
If you need some pics I can get some from NY as well.
