In order to celebrate the new job I just got, I picked up a Airfix Battle of Waterloo boxed set (http://www.airfix.com/airfix-products/dioramas-and-figures/dioramasfigures/a50048-waterloo-battle-gift-set-172-a50048/).
Not done anything with it, yet - and it will probably take me months if not years to get to it, but so far I love it! And I'm going to try and prioritise some time to work on it! :D
I have a bunch of the Revell 1:72 stuff, been saving it for the kids when they are older and want to get into painting minis.
Yeah, I'm thinking the same thing - although I've got two girls! ;)
But I also like 1/72 as a scale for myself anyway!
My daughter is interested in minis now Keeper so don't worry the girls get into it too. The set looks like fun. I know someone who can make some nice terrain for it too :icon_wink:
Lets not jump the gun! Gotta wait until I've at least painted a few figures! :D
