Title: More Sculptural Nonsense
Post by: Caerban on October 31, 2009, 09:27:32 AM
A few more in my cutesy themed critters series. I'm wondering about how to cast the first one in resin so I can slap some paint on it. Any suggestions?

That cutesy beholder is just wrong like a plush cthulu! :)

Great work, Caerban.  No idea about casting, though, sorry.

Nice work on all of them. Nice paint job on all of the eyes.

I can't carry on starting a new thread for everyone of these I dredge up from the febrile depths of my imagination so I've tacked this one on here:

If its something different then a new thread is fine. I like the sculptures. Any chance of castings for any of them?

I really hope that I can cast that baby dragon bust but I have no real idea how to do something that complex. If I could get into my shed I'd experiment but it's full of old doors at the moment  >:(

Geronimo and Snuurg have experience casting so maybe you can ask them for some tips.
