Hi guys, a new company called smart max has got a new range of figures out for what appears to be a victorian sci-fi roleplay game.

just about everybody who passed their stall at salute 09 (when they launched their range) were blown away by the quality of their stuff and their presentation.
i'll be following their progress with great interest, as the minis look fabulous and have the whole 'league of extraordinary gentlemen' feel to them.
anybody else hve any info or views on them? can't find much about the game system at the moment (although Geronimo makes their bases for them!)
Just that I've heard from several different people who went to salute, both online and actual real people I actually know - all have said the same thing as you!

They're actually launching two games - Smog being their victorian gothic steampunk setting and Alt WWII being another (can't remember the name, on works PC atm).
May also be making some 54mm scenery for them as all their sculptors are too busy with another 30-45 models; there was even talk of some lifesize versions of some of their minis :icon_suspicious:
As Stuart's already said, these were far and away the highlight of Salute - absolutely stunning sculpting and animation.
