Some more plastic fantasy minis from Caesar Miniatures. These were as much fun to paint as the Dwarves I posted (http://www.customhobbyforum.com/index.php?topic=2628.msg35994#new) and we're also using these in the Fantasy Raiders campaign we're playing.
What I really love about them is the real Harryhausen feel the've got to them - like they've just been raised and are about to attack Jason and his argonaughts! :) However, I went for a clean look, based on the reasoning that if you've mastered enough magic to raise the living dead, then the kind of clean-up work that Mickey Mouse made a mess of in Fantasia should be childs play! lol Just because your bones are showing doesn't mean your blade shouldn't be sharp and that you shouldn't turn yourself out well!!
I've sealed them with a heavy varnish to protect them, just like the Dwarves, but I've not yet got around to applying brush-on DullCoat.

Your comments and criticisms are most welcome :)
How do they take to spray paint?
Pretty well, actually. I glued them to the bases before even undercoating, so that I'd be able to hold them without touching the paintwork, because I've found the paint rubs off fairly easily if you're not careful until they're sealed.
They took an undercoat of GW Skull White primer well and painted up over that just like normal. And since spray-varnishing, we've played half a dozen games with these chaps and they've held up perfectly :)
Now all I need is a steel sheet and I can use my new Hasslefree magnetic bases with them as well! :icon_biggrin2:
Good to hear! Thanks. They look very nice by the way.

Thanks :tip-hat: They'll look even better when I finally get around to applying some matt varnish as well ;)
Yes too shiney. I can't wait to see the final look.
