I really like that!  Wish the pic were bigger.  You did an outstanding job on the flesh tones!

When I first saw that mini, all I saw was zombie Thrud, so I just had to do it:

I had to file down the nose guard and fabricate the T on the front of the helmet, then sculpt the back and sides of the helm to go down past his ears.  I also sculpted on Thrud's studded belt and loincloth, shaved down the legs a bit to that they looked bare, and gave him furry boots.  The right arm is repositioned; I had to alter the right side because those arms really only fit one way.  I also had to reposition the right hand and open it up a bit to fit around the axe handle.  The axe is fabricated from three different pieces; the handle is from a big boris axe, the shaft is from a WH chaos marauder horseman spear, and the axe head is from a barbarian I got from Wristy.
Darnd photobucket shrunk the picture!  Oh, well, when the poll is done, I'll post it on Cheddarmongers.

Yep, the pants came out great.  I really line the stone of the crypt entrance.  would have been even better with some runes on them...  ;)

I was in a bit of a hurry remember.  ;)

I use the florist dry foam for it and it works well.
Very east to cut, the saw cut it like a knif through butter.

Or a pentagram, since Andy uses them...

Does Andy use pentagrams to raise undead, or to bind them?   :icon_scratch:

One way to do "carvings" in that stone is to paint the designs in black or dark gray, then follow with white or light gray "shadow" below those lines, to look like the sun is catching the under surfaces.

I also think you did a great job on the skin tone.

I figured that with the bodymass he still has, he hasn't been interred too long.

It's a family barrow or where the clan's leaders are berried, which explanes why he looks way much newer than the Barrow.

I remember someone once did a star of David instead of a pentagram by mistake for there summoned daemon.  :cm

Yeah, how 'bout those skin tones!

Hey, Wristy, I read the Forgotten Realms books...  in one of the War of the Spider Queen books, the wizard uses a six sided star for the summoning circle and creates a clever trap for the demon...  (spoiler...)

Where is the spoiler? Oh you do know that we have a spoiler tag now right? It's the one that looks like the toxic symbol.
