Title: Freak Angels
Post by: Bungle on July 22, 2008, 06:56:36 PM
For those of you that don't know.. Freak Angels is a free online comic.

Think what would happen if the Midwich Cuckoos had grown up, and the world they create.

Quote23 years ago, twelve strange children were born in England at exactly the same moment.

6 years ago, the world ended.

This is the story of what happened next

Anyway... I am excited as they are collecting it into a book and not just an online comic.

I like the style! Very much in the vein of French comics of the eighties - kind of jugendinspired. Can't stand webcomics though (to much of the beauty of the illustrations tends to get lost... at least I allways imagine that, probably not true really...) so I'll probably end up buying the book.

I like it as well-but im having trouble figuring out whats up.  The flood is what ended the world?  is there a common threat?

The Freak Angels ended the world, and feel guilty about it

Its kinda slow going, but it reminds me of Lost Train for some reason - only a little more stable.

I think it would mean more if you knew those parts of London better.

It is incredibly slow going!!

No pressure to keep up sales, just introduce characters and the world in a slow leisurely pace, things are only just getting going in the most recent episodes.
