The second set of pictures shows more of the detail better. Is this figure one of the ones from the exchange? For a second I looked at the base and thought you got a hold of Perv's avatar.

Just when we thought that Reaper Paladin's sword was rediculously OTT......

Yeah, I know, Keltos are really bad for this (worse than Chronopia, at least the Chronopia models had rediculously cartoony oversized armour so the weapons didn't look so huge).

Nice colours 'though. Are you going to do anything more to that cloak? I'd assume it's not finished yet.

Just a thought: is the hole in the centre of the blade supposed to make it look like a razor blade/scalpel blade or is that just an amusing side affect of the design?

At least there isn't a ridiculously small scabbard to go along with it.

That's almost as bad as some of the old Citadle archers holding a bow but with no quiver full of arrows to use with it :p. Then again, with a sword that big he's not going to keep it in a scabbard (more sort of on a wrack on the wall along with two more strong guys to help him lift it one handed like that).

That aside does he also make you think of Elric?

Think it must be for opening cornedbeef tins when you lose the key and the hole is a bottle opener.  :laughing7:

Skin and metal done just and the base painted, thinking of going with a blue cloak, white handle for sword and ivory bottom to the sword, not sure if i should paint the chain thing with red jewels (just red dot's) or leave them as is.

Would have had to paint his armour black then and give him pale skin too.

Well the cloak looks like a slightly greyish shade of very light purple at the moment. Darkening it (to a deep purple but keeping the light grey in it) could work too. Sort of liek these curtains only darker :toothy1:

Why that aside? I allways thought Stormbringer was SUPPOSED to be ridiculously huge? Only the magic of it makes it even possible to wield.

Just to show i am still working on him and haven't done a runner with the figure's, here's the latest shots of him.

Close up of his face, his nose guard seems to blend in with his face a bit in the close up.  :icon_ermm:

Like I said on the FoD, he is coming along well. I am not crazy about the figure but that paint job is good.
